The sneaker design takes elements of performance running sneakers of the mid-2000s such as the mesh base and overlays with an exaggerated and DIY approach, featuring raw cuts, stitches, and glue throughout. The external heel counter flows into the chunky heel, similarly seen on Balenciaga’s Track silhouette. Balenciaga branding can be seen on the tongue, heel counter, with “runner” printed on the lateral side of the midsole.
